Scale
Measure agreement or sentiment along a rating scale.
What is Scale?
A Scale slide lets the audience rate one or more statements along a range (for example 1–5 or Strongly disagree → Strongly agree). Results show the average and spread per statement.

Create a Scale slide
- 1On Home, click + Create new presentation (or add a slide to an existing one).
- 2In Choose Slide Type, pick Scale. You can also type it into Search slide types….
- 3The slide is created and the right panel opens on the Content tab.
Set up the content
- 1Add one or more statements to rate.
- 2Set the range and end labels (e.g. Disagree ↔ Agree).
- 3Present and collect ratings.

Choose the scale length and the labels at each end.
Multiple statements
Rate several statements on the same scale in one slide.
Time limit
Give the audience a countdown to respond. Turn on and set the number of seconds.
Hide result
Keep results hidden while people respond, then reveal them when you are ready.
Stop submission
Lock the slide so no more responses are accepted.
Present & share the join code
- 1Click Present in the top bar to put the slide on the big screen.
- 2A join code and a QR code appear (e.g.
36Y56). - 3Participants open the Audience app at join.engageslide.com, type the code and press Enter — or simply scan the QR.
- 4When everyone has joined, the responses start flowing in live.
How the audience responds
Participants drag or tap a point on the scale for each statement and submit.
View results
Each statement shows the average score and distribution so you can compare sentiment at a glance.
