Puzzle

Players arrange choices into the correct order to score points.

What is Puzzle?

A Puzzle asks participants to put a set of items into the correct order. Points are awarded for a correct arrangement, with a speed bonus like other quiz slides.

Create a Puzzle slide

    On Home, click + Create new presentation (or add a slide to an existing one).
  2. 2
    In Choose Slide Type, pick Puzzle. You can also type it into Search slide types….
  3. 3
    The slide is created and the right panel opens on the Content tab.

Set up the content

    Enter the prompt that explains what to order.
  2. 2
    Add the items in their correct order — the app shuffles them for participants.
  3. 3
    Optionally attach images to each item.

Puzzle settings

Points & speed bonus
Score the fully correct order; faster solves earn more.
Time limit
Give the audience a countdown to respond. Turn on and set the number of seconds.
Hide result
Keep results hidden while people respond, then reveal them when you are ready.
Stop submission
Lock the slide so no more responses are accepted.

Present & share the join code

    Click Present in the top bar to put the slide on the big screen.
  2. 2
    A join code and a QR code appear (e.g. 36Y56).
  3. 3
    Participants open the Audience app at join.engageslide.com, type the code and press Enter — or simply scan the QR.
  4. 4
    When everyone has joined, the responses start flowing in live.

How the audience responds

Participants drag the shuffled items into the order they think is correct, then submit.

View results

The correct order is revealed and points are added to the leaderboard.
