- Google Slides Data: We access the active Google Slides presentation to insert and update interactive content such as polls and questions. Our application only accesses the Google Slides presentation currently open by the user and does not access other files in the user's Google Drive.
How We Use Your Data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
- Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
Google User Data Usage: Google user data is used only to provide core application functionality inside Google Slides. We do not use Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Google user data is never used for advertising purposes.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties. Data may be transmitted securely to our servers to synchronize interactive presentation content. We may process data using trusted third-party infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting services) solely to support application functionality. These providers do not use the data for their own purposes.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service. Users can request data deletion by contacting us at hi@engageslide.com.
Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. We use industry-standard security measures to protect user data. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
